Charm Rehab Farewell:

It’s amazing what you think about right when you try to fall asleep. That thought grows and grows and you find yourself lying awake in bed. That’s what happened to me I guess. So, instead of waiting for tomorrow, I decided to just let it all out.

I started Charm Rehab nearly a year ago and although it was a great year, I decided all this wasn’t for me. My passion for creating hasn’t decreased but my enthusiasm in Charm Rehab has. Over the last three months Charm Rehab’s popularity was decreasing. I was getting less and less sales, no new fans on Facebook, etc. Although I wish CR could’ve been a success, I can’t say I’m surprised. I just wasn’t feeling it anymore. I came up with contests, then never went through with them, I came up with sales, and never promoted them, I was just so apathetic. I know that if I tried harder with everything, I wouldn’t be writing this, but I didn’t really want to try harder.

I was thinking about how hectic my future is going to be. I’m a full time student, I want to find a job, build a resume and get an intership, I also want to travel and not be so serious. I started Charm Rehab for fun and it quickly grew into something serious and in a lot of ways, uninteresting to me. There’s really no room for Charm Rehab in my life, as sad as that sounds, I’m ready to take the next step into my future.

I want to thank all of you who have helped support Charm Rehab this past year and I appreciate all the love. I will still be creating custom clothing and bracelets BUT I will be selling them independently through my blog/flea markets around NYC. I will be vending at Artists and Fleas in Brooklyn this upcoming October and every few months after that for fun.

Anyways, I hope you Charm Rehab lovers understand where I’m coming from and accept my decisions to gracefully bow out of the selling scene.

I’m leaving this blog up for a few months and then eventually it will be deleted along with the twitter and facebook page.

You can still catch up with my on Twitter and I’d be happy to link you to my blog/other projects. @nadiaharaj

Lots of love,

Nadia H.
